I love watching this show over and over again. The best super show. Love you all very much. You live in our hearts for ever. I have listened to all these great singers since I was a kid and we Srilankans earlier known as Ceylon had the best radio stations and even now all the golden oldies are played daily . Gentleman Jim , golden voice from beyond we love you and thank you very much. I am at the sunset years of my life. And I am thankful to Our Lord God Almighty.

One Christmas, must have been mid-sixties, so I would have been around 6 or 7, completely at random, one of my uncles gave me the Jim Reeves single Distant Drums with Old Tige on the B side. From then on I was completely hooked on Jim Reeves and country music.

Too bad we cant see the commercials that would have shown in that day!

It was syndicated, so commercials varied. Film production, and distribution, made that these classic shows survived.

This makes me smile. In the early 70's i caught ET and the boys at the Hitchin' Post in Albuquerque. He did a geat job and his band was amazing.

This is what you call good entertainment. They can put all the money. These days, and you got crap. Come today gone tomorrow. Give me this type of music anytime God bless them all. As their songs and music will live on and on. Jim Reeves was was the best and brilliant even to this day.
