Grand Palladium Dinner Buffet Food (Costa Mujeres)

See what food Grand Palladium resorts (in our case it was in Cancun at Costa Mujeres) offer at its buffet restaurant for dinner. This buffet, Isla Blanca, was also where TRS Coral guests would eat if they didn't want to dine at a a-la-carte formal restaurant at the resort, as Carpachio is closed for dinner.
Overall we thought the selection was pretty good, with our favorites being the sushi/sashimi areas and the taco sections. We did wish there were more veggies such as broccoli and spinach as there seemed to be an excess of bell peppers. There also wasn't any live carving station either.
We really liked the service- the servers were friendly in taking drinks order and brining them to the table.

Hi Bob and Jill- we were just recently at the resort. We also visited several other ones so many new videos are coming. November should be all-go for cruise ships! We haven't booked yet but look forward to going back cruising hopefully by the end of the year.

You are welcome- thanks for your comment! I would say the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres food is not as good, but was still quite good at some of the specialty restaurants. If you stay at the Family Selection like we did, however, you can also eat at the neighboring TRS Coral restaurants which are excellent and at the level of Finest Playa.

Love it! We are planning to book here, but also thinking of Finest Playa Mujeres I saw that you have been to both. May I ask for your opinion in which one would you come back again? Grand Pala or Finest? Thank you in advance

We really liked this 4 star resort- the grounds are huge (which could be a con) and had so many dining options. We did book Family Selection which allowed for free access at the huge Zentropia spa, plus the neighbor TRS resort which had an even better buffet. Finest Playa is a 5 star, with better service and the room was massive. GP had better entertainment shows. Tough call for sure, but Finest Playa has the edge f you're not in Family Selection. Otherwise it's a really though call. You try out both and let us know 😉

This’s a 4.5 star resort but the buffet doesn’t look as impressive as I excepted. Though the sushi looks good. It seems like they have quite a few of A La Carte restaurants to choose from at the resort- do the restaurants have good food?

They did had sushi & sashimi which were pretty good. But yeah the best foods of the resort are at their specialty restaurants, which are all included as part of the all-inclusive package.
