Grand Prix series crash modelling was finally beaten by BeamNG drive about 20 years later... back in the old days, they simply did better work with the equipment of their time than most developers nowadays.

Beam just needs more grip for certain cars and boom...also bi train trailers and double headed trains with lots of wagons

I remember playing GP3 as a child sometimes just for the sake of causing massive crashes and saving the replays with names such as "flying disaster","you won't believe it even if you see it" etc. I even downloaded the editor at some point, in order to modify the physics and make the crashes even crazier great great times

i have to say, I´m stunned by how far ahead of its time this game actually was. simple things, like the thorough destruction, or the marshalls running to cover / away from a crash... Good stuff. I already downloaded the demo, but I can´t seem to get it to run with the mod that brings in much of the technical finesse (forgot the name), seems like I need the full version for that.

Bixenon YT I tried to start it just now via the GPx mod exe, and there is a ton of options I have never seen, plus the exe is regarded as a virus (so I´ll need to whitelist it first) PLUS the exe becomes inactive immediately - which might be because it´s blocked, i don´t know. So... I´ll have to invest a bit of work first, before i can play :-| But thanks again dude, I had given up on finding a working version literally years ago, so this is a pleasant surprise.

I Hope Kunos Simulationi one day makes AC2 and takes the throne of the best detailed Racing Game ever I will love to see a AC2 with these GP4 mechanics. In my opinion = Less Simulator (just a little bit, to make it more... Friendly) and more details

@@letsgoooooooooo491 looking at the racing videogame videogame scene, SimArcade its becoming a thing. I really like that concept of, Having Fun and enjoying racing, while keeping a balanced realism. Not too arcade, and not too Real. On the other side, i dont like the way some people complain bcause, "This game is Not enough realist, dislike🤪" Games are Games, and you cant simulate real life, we play games bcause they offer us something different and more exciting than real life, if you pretend to Literally Copy real life, into a Software... then why dont you go to a real circuit? I mean, its soo cool to have a game that allows you to feel the car in every circuit posible, ok But only 1 game. Not every Racing game has to be like that. Sorry for all this text, maybe someday i start making videos about that.
