After seeing 4 Grand Final defeats back when I was a kid between 1989 to 1995, I would have been happy enough to see 1 Geelong Premiership. Now with the Cats winning the 2022 Premiership, I can say I have lived to see the Cats win the Grand Final 4 times in my life from 2007 to 2022. 15 amazing years, it doesn't matter the missed opportunities from Prelim Finals and the two other Grand Finals where the Cats lost after missing their chances in the 2nd quarter of 2008 and 2020, this win today perhaps levels at least all those losses that we as Geelong Fans of the 90s had to endure. Well done Geelong, well done Cats in winning your 10th Premiership since 1925.

Couldn't be happier for the boys. You've watched the older blokes stay close to the top of the comp, and play great footy week in, week out & just hope they get to taste it again. You watch new additions slot in perfectly and complete the structure. They're all so deserving.

What a win after 11 year’s of suffering and misery it comes home to Geelong and bet frank costa was with god watching the game this win was for us the fans and supporters and for those people who wished they could watch this but sadly past away

The hardest game was the first qualifying final. We did brilliantly to overcome Collingwood. Significantly our players were consistently good if not at times brilliant through the finals. Sure Sydney was overawed and Grand Finals can have an effect on teams, but Geelong took them to the cleaners proving their form was not a fluke and the Bookies to be right. The boys have such genuine characters, not a rotten apple amongst them. Good culture breeds success!
