Setting the gmt hand to a reference time that you want plus the am are pm then set your local time it's all done by the crown stim position as you pull it out. I have the grand sieko quartz GMT setting it are the same way

The wetsuit extension is a godsend in super cold weather. I use the one on my strap code bracelet so I can wear my watch over the gauntlet end of my gloves.

Does it damage to watch it all if you have the chronograph running a lot? I just like to sleep with that long hand I’d probably have it running quite a bit of the time.

This timepiece actually has 200m of water resistance, as opposed to the 100m mentioned in this video, which may have justified the use of the diver’s style clasp in the eyes of the designers. Also, it’s GS’s first use of a display case back on a 200m rated watch. I feel GS really pulled all the stops for this timepiece.

It's definitely "GRAND" Seiko. The human hours that in this watch must be very high. Grail watch for me. Mr.G in the automatic world. Id wear even if I were a stick

They need to put boxes on higher level. If they going to level of Rolex and stuff they need to improve boxes. They basically give same boxes as the 300$ Seiko. Grand Seiko needs wooden carved glossy watch box in the style Patek Philip does it. When you pay $ 10,000 or more it is fair to ask for a more upscale box, not a glorified Amazon package lol

To be honest you don't get that much for 13,000$. For that price it should be gold. The golden ones same style they selling for insane $50,000. No seriously. Should be gold or selling for $7000 max.

And let me not start with bracelets. They should not show for starter the lug holes. It should be flush and invisible. Else it looks cheap. And maybe they should come up with something better for logo then gs letters. Maybe some classic Japanese sign of some family crust related to the founder. Seriously. Gs are not even Japanese letters but western. They should stand behind their culture and do something classic Japanese crust engraved and I want to see on every grand Seiko the golden lion logo that shows is done by a master and more precise. Cancel all other lower quality. Elevate so the golden lion is standard on all in the back. And if they make see through case in back in needs to shows an inside that makes you say waw! Patek does that, or even panorai or jaquet droz
