I used to be a loyal player at gsr,but the owner bought the Sahara in vegas and changed the players club and not in the players favor!To make a long story short,went down the street to Atlantis.What a difference!Great comps and we never looked back!

Just spent the weekend there. We got the same rooms you did on the 4th floor though and an extra room to make it 3 rooms connected. I like how you close the end of the hallway to make it your personal hallway space between rooms. 👍

I love Grand Sierra Resort. I’ve never stayed there but I’ve been there a couple of times and it’s a really nice establishment! Your room was very nice thanks so much for the tour and all the info I definitely plan on going to Reno again hopefully this year! Happy new year by the way 🎆

GSR ,Atlantis ,and Peppermill are all kind of equal but have different qualities that balance out,probably go to all of them ,I have and it was worth it.

The movie theater next to Round Table Pizza is a second run theater now, but it used to be the Keystone II Cinemas, Reno's indie theater that played all independent and foreign films. While I was a college student in the late '90s, I was there all the time to uncover the latest gems. It closed in 2000 as an indie theater.

Is there plenting of walking space outside the casino? Is it safe to walk there? I'm going with my daughter to her convention and I will be alone most of each day and I'm not a gambling person either.

I did a lot of walking at the resort inside & outside because I am also not a big gambler. The resort is huge so you will definitely get your exercise! I felt safe walking around. There is also a big shopping area about 10 minutes away & Scheels if you needed to kill some time. Have a great trip!

@@Nicole.Sisson I did. I was attending a convention that was being held at the Nugget, but I had a history of play and easy comps at GSR so I stayed there instead. SO glad I did. The Nugget casino is dark, smokey, low-ceilings, and just plan depressing. GSR is so much better

Poor service. Didn't clean are room Lost 3k in tools stolen from my truck. Chinese food in the resort was nasty . We won't go back . But now I can spend time reviewing them so if you like to gamble with your food your cars/personal property good luck to you and be safe

I liked it when they used to have dinner vouchers. Then they got greedy and changed it. You have to earn so many points on the slots with your comp money when you hit the threshold then you get the dinner. Talk about cheap ass. Yet they rake in millions on the slots and the tables. So you go home broke and hungry. And the rooms were dirty too! If I ever go again it won't be here. I'll go to the Nugget or the Silver Legacy. But certainly not GSR.
