Grand Terrace Suite Surprise! Margaritaville at Sea Islander | Stateroom 6162

We sailed on Margaritaville at Sea Islander for her inaugural cruise and had an amazing time! Six months later, the team at Margaritaville at Sea invited us back - on their dime! - to check out how things have evolved and changed since that first voyage.
For this sailing, we were blessed with a Grand Terrace Suite. It’s definitely the biggest cruise ship stateroom we’ve ever had! We bring you through the entire space, along with the unbelievable balcony.
First impressions: there are more outlets and USB ports in this room than we know what to do with! 😂

Went on in August, in a breezy balcony. Had an awesome time. Going again in feb. This time in a grand terrace sweet. Picked one however toward the aft of the boat. The rescue boats below the mid ship GTS cabins is a bummer. I like looking straight down at the water.

When I saw videos on the Paradise, Margaritaville at Sea didn't seem appealing. But Islander keeps having so many things going for it, I might give them a try...

@@angelsanchez8344 we’ve sailed both ships for the brand and can confidently say: they brought this one down to the studs and rebuilt it as Margaritaville at Sea! Paradise can be fun if you’re looking for a quick 2-day jaunt, but Islander has more amenities and experiences. We like it so much that we’re doing our first group cruise on Islander!! That would be a safe time to give them a try? ;) -mark

We honestly had so much space that we didn't need them! With that said, they have worked in all of our other Margaritaville at Sea cabins, so I would assume yes, but don't want to disappoint just in case they didn't for some reason. ;) -Mark

@ Nothing that we haven't seen in other main dining rooms on cruise ships: covered shoulders for the men was really it. We still saw shorts and sandals being worn, but most of the visitors to the Islander Restaurant wore at minimum short sleeves and pants.
