I'm getting old and partially disabled. GT has been on my bucket list for a while. Living in ID we have lots of guests but they always want to go to other places. I'm going soon, Sept. Mostly driving but, I'm going!! This is the best video I've seen on planning a trip there, THANKS!

There is soooo much to do in the Grand Tetons. We did the 4 hour horseback ride at the Heart 6 ranch back in May. We were the first group of the year and it was just me and my sister and our wrangler Alessa Even found an old weathered Elk skull. Bicycle trails !! Jackson and the Grand Tetons has so many of them.

Yes so much to do there! Wow that must have been a nice horseback riding experience! There were many more people when we went, but we were split into small groups luckily

Thanks for sharing and making easier the traveling. You both are genious. Guys, I'm wondering if you allow me to take some screenshots of your video for making a meditation one. We are a spiritual community that beleive that the Grand Teton is a great focus of divine energy. We are planning to travel there maybe next year, depending on funds hahaha. Thank you again

Thanks! We don't allow people to use our footage as it's our original content and we don't license that. But if it's just a screenshot of a few images, then it's okay :)

Very nice video guys, congrats. You both inspired me and my girlfriend to go from Brazil to GT next month. Is there any park access ticket that has to be purchased in advance?
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, you can buy your national park pass in advance (it's called America The Beautiful Pass). Here is the official website: store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes

When continuing on to Cascade Canyon from Inspo Point, how long before the trail opens up into the canyon do you estimate? We are hiking with children and we can't commit to CC in its entirety, but I've heard that it's a stunning view when it opens up and I'm curious how far we'd have to go to see that. Thanks!!
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
Not too far really! The trail becomes way more flat after you get to Inspo Point. So maybe another 20 mins or so?

Yes it is! But not all roads are accessible during winter due to snow conditions. Lots of facilities / roads close from November until April

You forgot the most important thing on the list A FIREARM You’re a fool if you actually believe that a hot sauce squirt gun could be better than a boom stick If I go into the backcountry with animals big enough to eat someone then you can guaranty that I am packing the heater and a spare mag or two and you’d be dumb if you didn’t do the same and if not for your protection then carry a firearm for other people that are with you because, GOD forbid, something terrible was to happen I don’t think I would ever be able to forgive myself for not bringing protection in grizzly country. You can do whatever you like but don’t believe the bs you always hear about how pepper spray is more effective than a firearm for bear defense. If it makes you feel better then carry both but DO NOT go lacking GOD BLESS YOU ALL
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
I think firearms weren’t allowed in the park actually. There was a sign at the entrance that it’s forbidden to discharge unless you have some legal hunting permit during the hunting season
