You don't necessarily have to be near the rear tires. It depends on the plane itself. You can't enter the ones with "stuff" in front and behind them.

You can get in the really big boeing airplanes by pressing triangle/Y when standing next to the rear landing wheels :D Not the semi big ones though...

The big planes you can only steal in single player. Makes no sense. Cargo planes are the same size so its not that. Buses can carry everyone on a server so its not capacity. no sense at all.

Yeah, I mean 750,000 soldiers died in the american civil war, but 1,100,000 died at the battle of the Somme alone. The somme was only a fraction of the total deaths: 16million people died during WW1. Then, to dwarf even that, in WW2, 60 million people were killed.
