Yesterday this game turned 20 years old, and I can't believe that which is already an icon for all of us who play it. I still remember the first time I saw the game when I was younger but at the time it came out I couldn't play it because a relative of mine didn't like it because he classified it as Violent. It took years until I was able to play it in 2014, and I was surprised by the story it had, and now I really appreciate this GTA. Happy 20th Anniversary GTA San Andreas

@@kratos3200 I think V had the best missions in the franchise, not the best story but the best missions, because you're never going to find any other game in the franchise that will hang you down from a helicopter with a rope, take someone hostage and kill people in a tower from it's window that you just broke in from, also I think the biggest factor why it has the greatest most fun missions is because you're playing with 3 characters which means you can just get into another action in a second just changing your character. San Andreas had a very good story but it's missions will never be as fun as V's because of how much technology they had while they were developing V

I think the reason San Andreas has an introduction is to demonstrate how San Andreas really connects to GTA 3 and Vice City. Ken was Tommy’s best friend, and Salvatore was Claude’s secondary antagonist, and additionally, it explains the balance of power between the families after Sonny’s death. It was also made to describe certain events in the story and give a better insight of Ryder’s betrayal. San Andreas is a good bridge between the two other games, even if it’s characters don’t appear that often. Still though it adds insight to their character development, especially Catalina and Salvatore, and what happens between Tommy and Ken, as well as setting up the story of GTA Liberty City Stories with the Mafia wars and Salvatore’s rather fragile position. We all love it because at the time it was extraordinary and special, and it was at the top of the gaming industry. Our nostalgic memories makes us love the game as we only started playing it yesterday.

From what I’ve heard Tommy was originally supposed to appear in the introduction before cutting ties with Ken but as Rockstar had a falling out with Ray Liotta they were unable to have Tommy. Really unfortunate

@@gftyhify It is, but I can’t help but wonder if it does fit Tommy to sever his ties with Ken all the same. Tommy’s very cold hearted, and Lance’s betrayal may have also further contributed to his eventual fractured relationship with Ken. However Tommy owed Ken the truth at least for his loyalty and for standing by him since the beginning, even if his cocaine addiction didn’t allow him to think about betraying Tommy. I believe that he was afraid and probably didn’t think this through. Tommy does say that Ken is a backstabber, possibly eluding to his supposed decision of not supporting the Forellis as Sonny arrived.

@@justsomeguy747 Tommy is cold hearted but he does have limits and he will not betray you unless you betray him first especially after he got betrayed by both Sonny and Lance. Tommy was likely worried that it was only a matter of time before Ken’s coke addiction brought down the whole organisation. Like Ken might make a mistake while washing the dirty money and the IRS sees this or if Ken got arrested because he’s a coward he may sell out Tommy and his gang so Tommy decided ‘I’d better cut ties with Ken before that happens’

@@justsomeguy747 like I said it’s all because of the falling out with Ray Liotta that Tommy was unable to appear in anymore gta games. I guess Rockstar didn’t want to recast Tommy either as all other returning characters in San Andreas had the same voice actors and yeah they recast some characters in GTA Liberty City Stories but that game does seem to have a lower budget and came out after San Andreas. In terms of Tommy’s character him ignoring Ken was probably deliberate. Tommy probably worried that if he spoke to Ken he might be tempted into taking him back which he knew would be too risky. Also the rest of Tommy’s gang might not have approved of him taking Ken back and they might turn against him.

(Possibly C.R.A.S.H. threatening Smoke) -Toreno telling T-bone that they need to be more productive and with the help of Panama they can have more product for sale to make it big. (The start of the Loco Syndicate) -Smoke tells Sweet that Grove Street families are getting weaker and advises to think of earning money. Sweet is disinterested and he strictly thinks about the hood. Sweet and CJ aren't speaking while he's living in L.C. -CJ has been a criminal while doing work for Joey Leone -Johnny Sindacco wants the Don of the Leones, Salvatore Leone to invest $5 Million in their Casino owned by the Sindaccos in Las Venturas. Salvatore wants someone else to run the Casino who is not with the Sindaccos so it would be even. -Ken Rosenberg is clean from his addiction of cocaine after handling it before with Tommy Vercetti. He's now in San Andreas and looking for work. -Tenpenny is threatening newcomer to C.R.A.S.H, Hernandez to do as Tenpenny demands as they drive to pick Hernandez up. -The green Sabre is being pulled from the garage by the ballas on their way to Grove Street -Rosenburg tries to get in contact with Tommy Vercetti but is denied words with him - Kent Paul is now managing the band, "The Gurning Chimps" after buying off Maccer out of his contract for $50K. Him and Kent Paul are coming to visit San Andreas -2 Sindacco gang members killed one of their guys, Mickey Sindacco in exchange of Salvatore Leone lending them the $5 Million -Salvatore tells Johnny that the deal is on. Now that there's an opening for the casino to be lead. Salvatore contacts Rosenburg to apply him for the job -Tenpenny tells Hernandez that there's going to be times where he's going to need to let criminals go and look the other way. (Tenpenny's act of corruption) (Hernandez is pressured to do what it takes) -Salvatore is angry with Rosenburg for sitting around and not working immediately to earn back his $5 Million he invested. Salvatore does not want him in connection with Johnny Sindacco, being secured that there is no foul play behind Sal's back -Tenpenny and Pulaski get Hernandez to murder Pendelberry because of threatening to expose their illegal activities to internal affairs. -The Ballas are commiting a drive-by in their green Sabre targetting The Johnson's house, hitting Beverly Johnson -Sweet phone's Carl to come back after informing him that their mother is dead. Carl shows sorrow for losing another family member.
