Why do you need F2 _F3 F3_ F2? What's the purpose of playing an older replay while recording a new one?

During runs creating a replay normally will play a replay from your previous run, making it NG+ and therefore invalid. The extra f2 is to save a replay from your current attempt first, ensuring this doesn't happen

@@englishben The F3's were the ones unclear to me. You'd be doing "start recording", "play an older replay" (which, ok, can be from the same run if you make it so), "stop playing", "stop recording". Why the need of playing while recording?

@@mannyc6649 the two f3 presses are to make sure the replay is of Tommy standing still on the object. Otherwise you'd have a long replay on Tommy slowly walking over to the object before you collect it

@@mannyc6649 F2 saves a replay to avoid ng+, you then press f3 + f3 to create a replay of Tommy in a certain spot, and f2 saves it similar to the first press.

The default keys to start/stop replays & load replays etc. Basically: the replay system added in the PC version breaks gamecode pretty badly. This is also why the PS2/Xbox version does not have this any% run since the replay system isn't there in those versions.
