So funny. I was screaming at the telly that you're walking in the wrong part of Sligo 😂. It's not that pretty but not as bad as you thought at first. Fair play for correcting yourself 😊.

If you follow the Wild Atlantic Way, you will see some gorgeous scenery. Try a ferry trip to one of the islands and I think you will really enjoy the beauty & the isolation.

There is more falls upstream from Glencar but they’re not accessible any more because it was quite dangerous. There is another waterfall you passed after the car park with the pier. It’s one of the highest in Ireland. Its proper name is Sruth in Agaigh in Ard (the stream against the hill) but it’s known as the Devil’s Chimney. It’s 150 metres high. It flows about 200 days a year. Dries up in the summer (probably not this year, in fairness).

Well I live in Donegal town I started to watch your videos and I really am enjoying them you come across very well and I like the way you put things across f air play to you enjoying life I'm going for it it's a pity it's a pity I never started watching your videos before I have a wee little bar at home call the hideout which we made during the lockdown I know you do not like Guinness but I think you would have enjoyed anyway enjoy what you're doing and I'll keep watching

So glad you found the centre of Sligo. Sligo is lovely, it’s like a mini Galway, but I think it's even better (and definitely cheaper)., not overly touristy. Great bars and restaurants, very picturesque, nothing nicer than a summer day having a pint by the river. (P.S. - I'm not from Sligo in case you're wondering)

The grounds of the abbey were used as a mass grave for a cholera epidemic in 1832. Bram Stoker, wrote to his mother who was from Sligo, to get her account of it when he was researching and working on writing “Dracula”. The churchyard where her family are buried a few streets from the abbey is also rumoured to have soil conditions that create adipocere. This is where the body basically turns to soap rather than decay normally. The bodies look like they’re alive but are soft when touched. And I wasn’t offended because the back of the railway station isn’t the flashest bit of any town I imagine 😂

You should have stayed in bundoran a bit longer and experienced the bars and the food .. I've been going to bundoran from 1986 . Love the place and love the people ...

Sligo is a nice town, but it’s not worth visiting in isolation. That being said, if you have a car, there’s a lot of beautiful sights around County Sligo, not so much in the town itself.

Great vlog... But... Would love to see the costings at the end include the actual currency you paid.. ie Euros... Not just pounds and USD.... That way those who are not American or English can get a proper feel for the cost down the track as our currencies may move differently against the euro than the two currencies you are showing

Very ignorant comments regarding my hometown Sligo. You didnt go to strand hill, rosses point, holy well, Hazelwood. Beautiful places in Sligo. Do your research next time.
