The jerk chicken at Jacks is amazing BUT…. The old Jacks Shack had amazing atmosphere, yes it was small but everyone had to go there for the experience, we were there Feb-March 2023 and the service was terrible, hardly anyone there, just wasn’t good, we’re back to Grand Turk in another month but we will not be going to Grand Turk, we’ll enjoy Margaritaville and the beach, cheers from NB Canada

That’s a great idea. It’s what a lot of people do. Only a couple other beaches available. Governors beach is close to the main beach. And it’s more secluded. Have fun!

Was there 10 years ago. Beers were $5 each Jack said it was the honor system, pay at the end for how many beers you drank, plus he gave us all a free shot of rum. I paid him a lot more than I drank.🍺😆

I first went to Jacks Shack in 2011 and had gone back about 7 times and won't be back. Noticeable difference since the original owner packed up and went back to the States.

Your video really was informative and now we know exactly the cost of what it’s going to be for our food at the shack and all the nice information you gave us about the beach and the taxi back. Food at the shack looks good!! I believe they cook peas and rice in coconut milk, gives a yummy taste! Happy Belated Birthday to baby girl!!! She’s such a sweet little girl, makes you just want to set a “freeze” button to keep her at that age 😂😂😂 That’s how I feel about my grands, 4 and 2 years old, but the kids grow up so fast, you blank your eyes and they are teenagers, then adults , before you know it 😊🥰❤️Thanks for sharing 🛳️🛳️

Hey we just walked there. The beach is free. We just paid for chairs and umbrellas. I can’t recall how much but I’m pretty sure I mentioned it in the video. Definitely pack cash because the wifi isn’t the best and their credit card machine may go down.
