I could think of a few Grandaddy tunes that are as good as it gets, A.M. 180 being the best example. This, however, is in a league of it’s own so far as uplifting tunes go. It’s my go-to song for those times I need a wee pep-talk and there’s nobody around to dish it out. 🙂

This was on a CD my dad gave me, this song used to comfort me when I was stressed or sad. Now, over 15 years later I felt.lile I needed it. Good to know the origin.

Known grandaddy since 90s. Been my fav band ever since .but one band I listen to that have become one of favorites is mono inc indie goth band. So catchy . You tube revenge , boatman , welcom to hell ,children of the night .never ending love song and you l be hooked . They have a woman drummer who sings quite operatic in chorus . Best band I heard since grandaddy and early 80 s late 70 s
