Marc, thank you again for another great video 📹. Our winter trip took an unexpected turn, We took "The Friendly Skies", and flew to Florida. Our awesome daughter and son-in-law picked up the "Snow Bird 🐦 Hideaway", so I didn't have to haul Bertha behind the Old Tundra across country. Surprisingly, there was more snow ❄️ on the ground from Penscola to Lake City. FL than at home. Beside your awesome commentary and history, your selection of music is GREAT 👍! Enjoy Q25, and we look forward to the 2024 Recap. Ron and Kim

Verde Valley is so Beautiful and Breath taking. We are Thousand Trail members and always to Thousand Trails Verde Valley off of Thousand Trails Rd in Cottonwood. We too visit Jerome each time we go. That BTW was a great video. We went to Dead Horse State Park, not even aware you could camp there? Wow!

There are oodles of beautiful places in which to camp in the greater Verde Valley area and they don’t cost a single red cent! No need to spend money on a campground. Wake up in the morning and look out the window at the red rock Mountains and cliffs, streams and gorges, and a multitude of areas in which to hike. Boondocking is the only way to truly see all of Arizona’s magnificence!
@GrandAdventureКүн бұрын
Boondocking is usually our preference, Tom, and we had a great week in the Valley back in 2020 off Forest Road 525C. Because of working from the road, we go through an enormous amount of electricity - three separate PCs running 24/7, Starlink, a desk phone, etc. - so when the days get short and sun angles low in late November, we simply don't get the solar production we need to keep our batteries topped off. So at that time of year, it's easiest for us to keep working on hookups.

Thanks Marc... what a truly beautiful area. How many autumns did you get to experience this year? The landscape you showed was just great. Many great vistas all over the place, there. I loved the two RV parks you stayed at. Really nice venues and not too expensive. I hope you get Patricia's vehicle resolved. What a drag having to leave it there. Did you recover it, fixed, yet... or not? I had forgotten you had visited this area back in 2020. Wow... so much time has passed by since then. I have really enjoyed vicariously sharing in all your adventures...😊 Gord
