We did Grandeur waay back in 2014-2015 and honestly it's what got us hooked on cruising. Our kids, (ranging from pre-teen to 18 at the time), who are the type who constantly need to be stimulated learned to stop and watch the waves and relax. They all had a great time and we have been on more than a few cruises since. In fact, they said they thought Anthem was just a little too big for them but still doable. They think the sweet spot is Freedom class or NCL's Breakaway class and I tend to agree. We love the more relaxed/relaxing atmosphere of the smaller ships.

We had considered sailing Grandeur of The Seas a couple years ago with my daughter & grandkids. I started asking questions about the ship & I was told that I might wanna consider another ship because this particular ship had no play areas for the kids. Glad we took their advice.

We’re booked on the Grandeur in Nov when they switch to Port of Miami for 9 days 🎉 I’m sure for the low low price we paid for a 9 day cruise and the awesome ports it visits we’ll have a great time! Plus this isn’t our first rodeo and by booking this inexpensive cruise this year we were able to book an aft balcony on the celebration next year!!🎉🎉 Win-Win!! Thanks for the Vlog!!

I hated this cruise, it was old, the food was subpar, the kids activities were non existent, the pool was salt water and full of drunks. But the one thing I loved was the guy who cleaned our room. It was my 1st cruise but I’m trying the NCL Prima next.

Prima is one of the best new ships we have been on. NCL cruisers have a lot of negative things to say about it but it was a really nice ship. Not great for little kids also

I was Grandeur last August on a 5 day cruise out of Galveston. It wasn’t a bad cruise, but it wasn’t great either. The cruise actually got boring at times so I’m glad it was only 5 days and it was cheap.

My family and I went on Independence of the Seas and we had the same experience! Dinning hall food was very nasty but the wind jammer and the fried fish stand was great. The pizza was a great late night snack as well. But we did have a mini fridge in our room.

I did Grandeur of the Seas last year for my birthday in January and it wasn't bad because of the various destinations we go to see but on board, it was quite boring due to the fact that it is an older ship. The food was pretty bad, especially at the main dining i.e. the great gatsby and it felt like the chefs had to cater to the taste of the white folk (no offense) and not the Caribbean crowd even though we embarked in Barbados (we are Guyanese by the way) because we knew for a fact that with a Jamaican head chef, he can cook. we ordered curry goat from him and he made it, especially for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly but what sailing on an older ship taught me was never to sail on an older ship again. the BReakfast and lunch at the wind jammer were great honestly at that time and i loved that guy that always says "WELCOMMEEEEE TO WINJAMMER!!" HE IS the life of windjammer and he always remembered our names, not sure if he is still there.

One of the first things we do on a RCL cruise is find out what night is Caribbean night in the Windjammer. Some ships are better than others but it’s aways pretty good. Usually the best complementary dining meal of the cruise. 👍🏾

In the pit in South Pacific hs show. Oooh k. Valencio is with Reign. Have mum Ramnarine make that Roti or school them 🙌🏼. I enjoyed the Goombay Smash 😋. Get it Reign with the rock 🪨 climbing 🧗🏼‍♀️. The arcade was not Arcading. The food was hit or miss on the Oasis too. The risotto at Giovanni’s was amazing. Well seasoned and hot. Everything else meh. Glad the casino 🎰 was hitting. Great point. Thanks for the info. We’re booked Oct 14 and since food sources embarkation is very limited and everyone has to eat Windjammer I booked Chops for lunch embarkation day. We have royal suite booked and it has a fridge (I am disabled use scooter so we book suites to park the darn thing. 😄) We are bringing things to entertain ourselves, cribbage, backgammon, Ipad books, etc. We’re old folks so we don’t have to try to make kids entertained, etc. Thanks for info on shows and the egg drop thing is moronic imo! 😄

I went with my brother and sister in law in January. We had casino offers for a 9 day Southern Caribbean. Could no believe there was no refrigerator, shows were eh. We spent most of time off the ship or in the casino. Tables were horrible, slots were great. I liked the little ship tho. This was one of the 1st sailings with the new menu. My sister in law hates it. Caribbean night in the buffet a definite.
