Grandfather clock "Big Ben" playing the Westminster chimes

Big Ben has been in our family since 2006. He is made from the Howard Miller clock company and keeps precise time and sounds absolutely fabulous. And so far over the years he has had no problems at all.

We never had one as a kid, but loads of friends and neighbor kids had them at their houses, so it's still very nostalgic for me. Lately I have had the tune stuck in my head but it's ao cool to hear the real thing! Honestly don't remember how you dealt with it at night though. I know I must've heard them at sleepovers, but I can't remember. Maybe you just get used to them or they were far enough away from the bedrooms not to be too bothersome 🤔
