About 12:45 there I heard the Fox playing in the background. Anybody else Nickel Creek fans? Boy, am I ever looking forward to the games near us this year! SCOTLAND!!

Grandfather Mountain is one of the best in the US. Definitely the one to go to!! I’ve been to the games in Portree on Skye a couple of times and had a great time, I love the venue!

Robin, excellent video, well edited. This is one of the loveliest venues for Highland Games that I have attended and you did a great job of capturing it. It also has some of the best entertainment in the country. I attended the GMHGs for many years until my friend, Alex Beaton, had his accident back in 2011. This year I hoped to video the tribute to Alex that was held on Fri afternoon. Due to a technical problem, I lost the first 10 minutes or so of the program. If you have any video from this program and would be willing to share it, I would be most appreciative. If so, please reply back to me and we can go from there. Thanks in advance for any help you might have.

Always look forward to the midsummer gathering up on Grandfather Mountain for the Highland Games! Such wonderful people and such a beautiful place! The athletes, dancers, music, and food are also fantastic!

Looks very enjoyable but would have been much nicer to be able to see the dancers properly, rather than those open green umbrellas
