Damn, the Stashing Place is genius! Even today some RPGs don't know how to handle party members leaving the group. Glad to hear you were able to finish this game after all this time! Loving the retro vibes of these videos.

Spot-on take! I was crazy enough to play through Grandia untranslated for the first time a couple of years back. Took me about 60 hours LOL. Sh*t, could not understand the vast majority of it but I had a damn good time with the combat and interesting scenarios that it kept me hooked regardless. One of these days, once I finally decide to grab an ODE (or something alike) for my Saturn, I’ll replay Grandia in English for sure. Shamefully, I skipped most of the optional dungeons haha

Oh you've got to do the optional dungeons! There is some damn good loot in them. :P If you get a chance to replay it I highly recommend trying them out.

It took me fucking forever the first time around. Like 70 hours, but I really took my time. It was the Hd collection, so I’ll be doing my next playthrough on the Saturn
