I would not be surprised if Zoro is actually the first one to properly take down one of the elder stars, purely because he is already known to not even kinda be intimidated by the position of the celestial dragons from when he nearly killed one of them back on Sabaody. Maybe we could see a flip of that moment where Bonnie somehow provides yhe set-up that allows Zoro to land the final blow since she originally saved him from the consequences of cutting down charleois by tackling him away from the guy. So idk if anyone else is picking up on this, but I’m sensing another crew separation coming up. 1 - this arc parallels sabaody and the crew separated there 2 - the crew is currently split in two. Luffy’s group has less SHs but has bonney and atlas. 3 - there is a sense of urgency to leave immediately and the crew is nowhere near grouped 4 - there are two ships that can be used to exit the island with both groups near one. Wild thought/theory: what if Luffy doesn't become king of the pirates? I don't mean someone else takes it or Luffy dies. I mean what if he discovers at laughtale that giving up being king of the pirates ends of fulfilling his bigger deeper goal that he thought being king of the pirates would get him? The idea comes from Koby actually. His dream to become an admiral was based on a deeper goal as well. I think the idea of Koby working his way up and being offered a chance to become admiral, possibly as a reward for stopping/ending a weakened Luffy, that he turns it down and switches sides. Stating that his true goal is to fight the suffering and sadness in the world. That idea is completely reasonable and can be a turning point that makes a large swath of the marines switch sides to fight a bigger truer evil. Especially when compared to Luffy. Now if that is reasonable, I can see Luffy having the same arc when he gets too the one piece, especially if there is a fight going on right there. The big bad guy tries to use the one piece and take over claiming that there is nothing that luffy can do. Then luffy destroys whatever is there that is significant enough to grant one the title of King of the Pirates. And as Luffy is destroying it, that is when Luffy reveals the true goal that he had since a child that mimicked Gol D. Roger's goal. Saying something that if he had to pick between that goal and king of the pirates, then he will not only give up on being king of the pirates, but stop anyone else from stopping his real goal. I'm not saying that this is true but it would be an amazing way for the final fight to get to its last stage. Instead of "I'm going to be king of the Pirates!" Luffy takes a big breath and shouts out his deeper goal for all to hear, causing all onlookers to go wide eyed in shock. Yes it's a silly and stupid dream but with everything going on, they all believe he can actually do it. All except the villian and that's exactly why the villian is a villian at his core. Not only does he think that the goal is stupid and silly, but he is certain that it is so stupid that he actively fights against it. Ultimate freedom vs complete slavery, who will win? Or some other similar concept.

Noone else knew that Gol. D Roger really found, and the person at his execution wanted to know if Roger found the world's greatest treasure. When he confirmed that he "left it all at that place" it was then linked by the populous that getting that treasure = becoming king of the pirates. Now that said what if the big bad villian is ancient, void century ancient, Imu ancient... their perspective may be something else, probably power and being able to enforce their will on the world. While that treasure does indicate "you've become the king of the pirates" it could also be a tool of taking over the world. Luffy's perspective of king of the pirates is the freeist man in the world. and don't forget, becoming king of the pirates "as luffy's perspective, was the step before completing his ultimate goal. By using perspective, Luffy can destroy the treasure and believe he gave up being king of the pirates, probably because that's what the villain said it would mean, and still get a post arc newspaper that proclaims him to be "the king of the pirates."

I believe the iron giant has a camera inside it. Vegapunk knew only the giant is big enough bait to gather all 5 elders in one spot together, and we know Vegapunk wants the world to have video recievers ready. The giant is about to expose the elders to everyone.

I just thought of something. What's in the iron giant is just a signal relay point, and the actual transponder snail is hidden inside Vegapunk's head, just like how Brook stores things in his skull. That's how it was able to identify when he died and start the broadcast.

How was sanji one shot when we see he’s up and fine this chapter lmfao. Sanji snuck and made Venus bleed and Venus broke sanji bones and they both healed like it was nothing. Venus used a no name attack and zoro used a stronger version of his strongest two sword style attack and they were both pushed back. I see this as nothing but equal love for both sanji and zoro the wings are coming in clutch consistently

How did the Krieg Pirates get there, especially when Gin was dying from poison? They were found, captured, and healed by Marines. Later they were rescued and recruited by Grand Line pirates who needed to replenish their numbers. Krieg may have gone from admiral to deckhand, but he also went from a shopping boat in East Blue to Pirate Island in the New World. (And I doubt he remained a mere deckhand for long.)

The "juro" in V. Nusjuro is something used in Wano for names, like Zorojuro for Zoro, so what if Ethan was a traitor to Joyboy ? He could've been one of the ancient weapon, like Momo, the one who commands Zunesha ( I subscribe to the idea that Ancient Weapons are comprised of 3 things : a pilot [ Shirahoshi, Momo and maybe Imu ], living creatures [ Sea Kings, Zunesha , ? ] and a vehicle/vessel [ Noah, Pluton, what nuked Lulusia ] ) and he's the one who punished Zunesha for whatever reason, preventing Zunesha from doing it's part in the War. Or he could've been a traitor who killed Kitetsu and took his sword, and in the process killed the ancient weapon pilot of Pluton causing in part the loss of Joyboy ? Point is I think Ethan is from Wano. Kitetsu was, like Momo is now, the pilot of Zunesha and Pluton. Ethan betrayed Wano by being Kitetsu and defecting to Imu's side or by killing Kitetsu and getting rid of a piece of an ancient weapon of Joyboy's side.

about the clash between Zoro and Ethan: I noticed Ethan's blade switches hands, when he draws his sword to swing for the Thousand Sunny he's got the hilt in his right hand, but when he blocks Zoro's attack it all of a sudden is in his left hand...
