I am a single 67 year old woman and I just finished building my 24x32 Pole Frame cabin. My cost were $27,000 for a 2.5 acre lot on a lake then I spent $24,000 on my Pole Frame shed. Next I took 4 years to finish out the interior with help from family. Taking my time I was able to source and save so much. My total cost with land, 2bd, 1 bath home and garage $114,000.00. I am debt free.

I love thst ideal I also want to build my own tiny home well I want to build 2 one for myself and the other for my daughters 12 and 17 . its just overwhelming I have been using the excuse im a single mom and its expensive along with having no ideal about anything when it comes to building anything, but I won't use that excuse anymore after seeing so many amazing women young and older who have built their own tiny house BY THEMSELVES and also had no skills before hand but did an incredible job. I dont have anyone to call or help if I run into any issues but thats ok I'm going to start saving with my next check until I reach the amount needed to buy supplies for the start of things. I dont know where you live but if its anywhere in or near south carolina I would be happy to help if you ever need an extra hand with anything.

I love the aesthetics of this home. I'm not a fan of olive green, but the interior is gorgeous. The white color makes it look so spacious. I would be worried about living in Southern California with the increasing earthquakes and having all those fragile plates and glasses so high up on the floating shelves. But it is so lovely to see all that vintage. My favorite things are the quilts up in the lofts and that gorgeous dresser in the downstairs' bedroom. They really make it homey. The paintings are beautiful as well. It's great to have a home on wheels also! Great lifestyle for you. Thanks for sharing 👍

My kids keep telling me I should look into going tiny. Having a sprinter van to move around with, stay with them or wherever, is really practical. The only thing is it's just a little to small. Maybe I could make it work, but here in Michigan there is not a lot of places to park or where they are welcomed. Some cities are now allowing ADU's but I don't know anyone who would do that. It's not really a thing yet. But man if it were....I'd be all over this. 🥰

Such a lovely home and a lovely woman! I watch many tiny home videos and am always impressed with how nice the homes are, the lots they are on and the “community” itself. I’ve commented before on other videos how in my middle class suburban neighborhood so many people live so isolated that when I say hi walking my dog, I get strange looks. Like, have I left the house without pants or something? 😂. I’m sure we’d have something in common if we actually spent time talking but in a tiny home community there is what seems an automatic bond because of one’s choice of living situation. I’m one of those people who want to live tiny, but my husband does not.
