Basmati rice grains are sickle shaped when cooked. If properly cooked, the grains are fluffy and not sticky. Are you sure this is not jasmine rice?

You had a video where you stayed in what looked like a cabin. There was an outdoor kitchen and the person cooked for you. I think it was also in Portie. I am searching and cannot find the video.
