Graphics aren't that great and modern? I'm pretty sure that since it's using RE7 assets it's pretty up there in terms of quality. Unless you can come up with something else as a better comparison. Heck, even till this days, 9 out of 10 games Markiplier's playing are still pretty low quality either using Unity, Gary's Mods, Half Life assets or etc.

Damn, this is definitely one of the best indie horror games we've seen in a long time. Jumpscares are a good ol' hoot and all that, but there's a reason why jumpscares work in the first place. You shouldn't be afraid of a jumpscare just because it's loud and surprising. You should be afraid of a jumpscare because you literally have no idea when it's coming. The constant sense of dread and terror, wondering if the next turn you make you'll see something you don't want to see, the ambiguous ending, this game has it all and in spades. Holy shit, just watching this game made me uneasy. Ten out of ten, seriously. It even had pretty good graphics and nice attention to detail too.

That game was made by a college student? For someone this young, the graphics are really well made and I envy this person who did the game. I'm young myself, but I want a better approach of the programming skills because I want to make a game me too and with Unity...but I don't have the skill to do so.

Ah, I see now yes. There's indeed premade stuff that you can buy on Unity for example with premade coding and models and such. What about me (even if you didn't ask)? I just want to mix two games together, starting with the gameplay and the art of a pixelated Beat 'em Up, just like "Mother Russia Bleeds" and then give it an already existing lore (but with some tweaks and plus to it) (I won't name the second game because it did a big flop when it was released, even though I love it).

regarding the swaying: the camera was probably attached to the player model directly, which, if it were animated, would probably cause the camera to move with the animation. easy way to prevent this would be to have the player model and the camera be children of a "player" parent, have the controls affect the parent, and then the animations play in the model.

or to not have model that's animated, but if the lighting's dynamic, then that could lead to odd shadows.

Hey Mark ! Contemp is an horrific contemplation game made by Micaka. In only 9 weeks, he made this project for his " etudiant art book". Every rooms and objects was created by him which is impressive given the limited time. The creator is originaly a graphist so all this house is just a scenography exercise, but to enrich the player's experience, he scripted some spooky events ! Hope this will help you !
