Is there a way to export the definitions of the midi to another show, instead of doing it allover again -because it is saved under the show data -which makes it impossible to load cuelist and etc along with the showfile that has the midi definitions -please help and thank you very much again for all the good work you out out it is cery helpful

Okay. I think i'm missing something, but how do I set the midi out device on an actual console. An MA2 lite doesn't have an options screen to set midi in and out, so I assumed it was automatic with whatever was plugged into the physical midi ports, is that correct?

Hey so i would like to ask a question. So i have like a really basic light mixing desk with a few faders and buttons and a midi output. I also have a USB to DMX interface. Is it possible to connect both of these to Ma2 on Pc so that i can use the faders on the light mixing desk but still having the DMX output going through the interface? (the interfacer has artnet) Thanks a lot!

i get midi in and everything seems fine, signals receiving but i can't choose any midi device, can only choose 'none' what is actually going on here and can i ignore it? i can't trigger cues with midi signals?

How do I assign a midi note from a keyboard or something to trigger a cue in MA?

Hey Folks, I've got stuck in a Problem with the GrandMA2, hope you can help me.. So want to program a Pixel- Mesh (DMX, no VPU), consists of 200*100 4- Channel RGB- Pixels. The Channels are RGB and the Dimmer. I worked with it, everything is fine, but I want to set a Background- Color (Lets say Red) at maybe 20% Intensity and there should run white lights randomly (but with Intensity 100%) over the Mesh. I'm able to set the BG- Color and Intensity, but unfortunately I'm not getting the Effekt fully running. So I'm able to get random pixels flashing at 100%, but then, they've the same Color as the BG. The other Effekt I was able to program gets pixels flashing white, but not at 100% (Same Intensity as the BG). When I try to combine these Effects (4 Effect- Lines in 1 Effect, DIM+R+G+B with all the same Attributes) it's the same like the second situation I described (pixels flashing white, but in the same Intensity as the BG is set). Can you Guys help me out? And please excuse my English, it isn't my native language ;-)

Is there anyway for onpc to send midi out on page changes? So if I'm using a midi controller with moving faders it will update when I change exec pages?

Hi. Heres some minor interest in controlling grandMA2 with a standart midi-cable. I can generate all sorts of messagetypes like CC/Notes+Velo Chan etc. but the console wont listen. Would be thankful for any hint + thx for your great videos!

i think i converted midi to dmx with some weird software (max or supercollider) and sendet it over to a enttech device. no need for grandma anymore.@@artembelotsky2316

It can't be directly assigned but you can assign it a normal executor and assign the midi control to that.

For some reason my new device doesn't show up in devices, the old one that broke shows up but the new one doesn't. Both are connected through USB so idk what the problem is, with that said, I can't even do step 1 😂
