In the event that she is so demanding, please make a police report and let the authority handle the matter .why all the in-laws in Vietnam have the same mentality???Why always make the daughter-in -law to suffer, is this their culture there???? Now the daughter-in-law is very happy with their lives here, she does not need any help from her. She can earn a happy living herself too. I was wondering why the grandma of your children all of a sudden visited your place and then trying to convinced the two kids to go with her. Nope , no matter what happened don’t ever gave your kids to your mother in-laws. Child custody by law, you have the right of determining the residence, protection, care and education of a minor child or children, especially in a divorce or separation. You are the mother, and you may not want to communicate with your former husband if your marriage ended on bad terms. It’s good the policeman/ engineer arrive on time and was able to talked to your mother in law. Besides, don’t like the behavior of someone acts in response to their feelings. At any rate, be cautious and alert to the dangers of. Keep an eye on your children especially they know where you kids go to school. You’ll never know what will be the outcome. Asked help for your protection and your children to your friend policeman. By the way, before I forget, don’t trust anyone especially if you don’t really know them. Watching from US Chicago
