@@mailbox8958 I had hoped that was the case. Culturally, there are many differences between the Chinese and Americans, and I think there is going to be some perceptions that one or the other is rude or crass...but I think most people are well-intended. If we take the time to understand cultural idiosyncrasies, there'd be less of that issue, but it could take time to bridge that gap. Regardless, I like to read that there are those who do not support the Chinese government. I hope the Chinese people are able to get Xi out and get the leadership that China deserves.
@mailbox89583 жыл бұрын
@@jw11432 Thank you for your words, really appreciated, Actually The CCP(Chinese Government) was totally a extraneous thing to China, it was a branch of the Soviet Union, It was not designed or based on Chinese culture, they learned everything from them and unfortunately they took over. then they want to form a new culture which has no religions no beliefs no honesty no mercy and only obey. lies and violence and education (brain wash) are their methods to keep control, that's also why they conducted the "cultural revolution", Countless great masters were killed or imprisoned or expelled and never dared to say anything afterwards, that was a huge and irreversible damage to the culture which Chinese people spent Thousands of years to build, and the revolution is not yet finished, so many people in China still get imprisoned for political reasons every day. Without them China would be a totally different country and you could see kind and traditionally beautiful people everywhere, and people in the world would love the country or at least, be a good friend. As a Chinese, I dream about that sometimes.

My grandpa was also a lifelong carpenter. I don't have many memories of him, but it was amazing to watch him work. One time, I watched him construct a basic porch (maybe 5'x8', perhaps a little bigger) in about 30 mins, by himself, making his cuts with a small chainsaw with just one hand. The cuts were good too, it didn't look all haphazard.
