D. Pensak My thoughts on this vacuum are that it’s really good, and would be a better machine in place of an Oreck.

This is the lightest weight highest power vacuum ever made. Iirc it's 5.5 amps on high speed. The statement above is what the riccar/simplicity dealer said when I bought bags for the rsl4 I have a video on. This is the newer version and if it has a metal brushroll and a lifetime belt.

This one uses a standard rubber belt and it has a wooden brushroll in it.

ypu the are but coppied of of oreck wich i like beatter my mom got one in 1986 last till 2008 modle 9100c

I think these orecks came out first and riccar came out after the oreck probably 2003 or 2004 riccar superlite just made like oreck clone

Yes they are copies of the Oreck but they had the rights to build one themselves since the patent expired. But personally I've used all kinds of Orecks and Riccars/Simplicitys before and in my opinion I like these the best.
