....my mom told all-kinds of delightful stories about rumble seats. She was a teenager during the depression. They'd get a dime for gas; and, drive around town all evening!

Be still my ❤. Now this was a special treat with you and grandpa. I love cars and when you make these car museum videos I'm over excited. My father was the general manager for GM in New Zealand and he always talked about Packard Co , so your grandpa was absolutely spot on with his comment . Packard couldn't keep up with orders and designs of there cars , but by looking at what was created it's absolutely beautiful. This was amazing Jordan . 🔥🧡💚💜

I remember way back in the mid 1960's my Grams pride was her 1939 Packard. She'd always say "get in the Packard", never "get in the car". We were never allowed to put our feet on the seats and had to behave while in her pride and joy.

This was a very educational video. I remember riding around town in an old '56 Chevy as a kid. They certainly don't make them like they used to. I know I wouldn't want to be in an accident with one of those! Sure, the windshield would probably shatter, but the modern-day vehicle would be totalled. A marvel of art and real metal, not fiberglass and plastic.

Wow what a great car museum. We have quite a few American car clubs in the U.K. and from time to time you see them on the roads, mostly in the summer. I certainly have seen a packard on English roads before, but they are from collectors and would have cost a lot to have in the U.K. as they would have had to be imported and even back in the day would have been expensive. Great museum there you have there. Such good quality vehicles Showroom Condition, almost like they were made yesterday. Great stuff Jordan

Love this vid Ty for sharing. My daddy was a avid antique car collector. He had a breathing taking collection. And yep he even had one with the crank motor. One of his cars that had the little meter gauge for the water temp was really cool, I got nervous riding in that car because the windshields in those car aren’t like todays windshield and don’t take much to break

Jordan - I loved going to see these cars with you and your grandpa. It was so good to see him. My mother told me when she was a teenager that her and one of her brothers were in a car accident and she was thrown from the rumble seat. Not sure which kind of car but the age and style were close. I've never seen a car with two windshields. So interesting. Thanks again Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
