Everything Grandpa Amu makes is clever. And it's so lovely to watch him with his family.

Mr. AMU, I enjoy all of your videos very much. When I saw you roasting potatoes like that it reminded me of doing almost the same thing when I went to market with my grandfather back in the 1960's. We had a farm and I went to market early in the morning, and in the winter they had gas heaters that we roasted sweet potatoes on. Thank you very much for the memories you brought back !! Here we call what you made a rocket stove. 👍👍🇺🇲

These guys know how to work together, that’s for sure. I cut wood all the time and know how heavy and awkward tree stumps are to move. When they loaded the second one on the wagon I was really impressed. This operation in the US would have required a $25,000 skid steer or excavator at the very least. For those commenters with environmental concerns, life’s requirements and conditions are very different in other parts of the world. I think this demonstration was to show how creativity and improvisation can be used, not to go through a lot of steps to roast some yams and boil water just to show off. Thanks again to Grandpa Amu and his family for posting these videos!

That's the way , good fire in a place where the luxury of modern convenience is rare must be a positive boon . If you want your kettle boiled make fire , I expect piped gas and electricity is expensive . Great video 👍🇬🇧

A tree that was cut down is not environmentally friendly,either is burning wood when there is no need,but I wouldn't expect that nation to worry about that too much.

No matter what anyone's carbon foot print is. It will never be as big as gretta's. Or john Kerry's. Go ahead and cry about someone grabbing something already plundered and utilizing it with function.
@nenaelliott80582 жыл бұрын
@@fmaz1952 he made a wood stove. He's not just burning wood. He can actually cook on this fire if he chooses. He can cook in a pot if he wants. Today he was just showing what "roughing it" looked l like. Grow a brain.
