I remember when my dad carried a hankie. My mom had to iron them for him. He was in the Army and a stickler. She was ironing his fatigues, and he complained about nit enough starch. So she fixed his wagon and starched a uniform so much it stood in the corner by itself! He wore it to work just like they were out in 90-degree desert heat.

Back in the 70's I had hankies ~ but I also had severe hayfever 😪. I owned about 60 hankies but with a communal laundry run just once a week, I still ran out sometimes😮💨 A little starch did make them last longer, but ironing them was a major chore if i didnt make it to do them while the big roller iron was still running. Nowadays i dont get half as bad (live in the city) but still have a large box of tissues in every room of the house, and a mini packet in every car pocket as well as my coat and handbag, and some of my Dad's hankies tucked away for back up! i dread to think how they coped before hankies were invented, I definitely wouldnt have made it in polite society!

I’ve just been meaning to tell you all as a teenager we had a great Pyrenees. His name was Goliath. I grew up in a family of five children with me, being the only girl and the oldest. My brothers taught our dog to play football. He would wear a helmet and assumed the position to tackle. He was the best dog ever. But we live next-door to a restaurant in Hueytown, AL and one of the restaurant cooks came out to take out the trash and he had got out of his pen and was sitting that restaurant door and she swore he was a bear. My dad heard her screaming and ran to go see what was going on and it was just our Goliath. The owner came out and said that’s not a bear that’s Goliath and he won’t hurt you at all. He went back into the restaurant and brought our dog scraps. I have always wanted another great Pyrenees, but I live in an apartment and I’m now 65 years old and I just don’t think the apartments big enough for him and me.

Rylie and Revel have grown so fast, and yet they are still puppies. I'm sure their vet visit will go smoothly. I am also really happy to hear that Grandma's sister's surgery went well and that she is recovering from it. Blessings to you all!

Thank you so much for the prayers for my daughter in love. The Lord answered our prayers she came through the surgery just fine…instead of a single bypass, she had to have a 4 bypass, all on her left side… she already had 2 stents put in on her right side on November 2… The heart surgery said she is doing just fine!! Thank you again for all the prayers for her and our whole family!!

It may be time to make the pigs a new area to let the other rest and regrow. The tractor attachment will be quicker than the first time. Good job Matt on the chicken house. My advice is to chew gum or wear a mask😊. I was a first responder and it helped in bad times. Would you and Grandpa be interested in Chad's chicken coop for the 2nd crew? Stat warm everyone!

My dad used a razor strap (2 pieces of leather about 3 inches wide) on us.....I mean the boys. I saw those straps and decided right quick I wanted no part of them. (I'm 73 and grew up with 3 brothers) My brothers, on the other hand, took awhile longer to decide they had enough. 😂 We all disciplined OUR children, similar to that, and everybody turned out great and had a lot of respect for others, unlike a lot of kids today.

Hi Ralph and Matt. Thank you for the video. Love the wormie dance. The chickens love the bread! Treat time!!! Wormies and everything!! Their house looks nice. Ralph you keep the henhouse cleaner than anyone else on UTUBE. Looks great. I know they like it. I love the dogs!! They are beautiful. Miss Kitty, she’s your lapcat! Riley will get it. She’s smart. Kyle to the rescue. Couldn’t ask for better support than Kyle to go to the vet with, well maybe except LeaAnn . Ralph you did a great job getting the pigs weight down. They look really good. I see p-dub and fox are watching you feed the piggies… lolol. You can ask them but the reason they are saying two miniature donkeys is they have someone from their own species to hang with so they aren’t alone. They just seem calmer if their are two. Anyway that’s what I’ve noticed on the other farms I watch.. Good video. Thanks for sharing. Blessings from OKC

Besides all of the normal crud and flu, "they" already have shot 4 for the newest variants of that C-19, unbelievable. However, let's not waste space arguing about the pros/cons of the shots and/or the actual believability of the C-19, on this channel/thread. OR, let's do, the extra chatter is good for the algorithms, I believe. If you do, can we please remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, deserves respect and there are many different cultures, traditions and values that affect our opinions and decisions.

I understand your "overthinking" adding any new animals to the farm. No one knows your (Grandpa's and Grandma's) capacity better than you do. I had to laugh at your description of Matt's haircut. When my son was little, he chose to have his hair cut short with bangs, too; but we referred to it as a Moe Howard haircut.

Thanks for another great video. I agree with you about how some channels have "scads" of animals. Too many, too soon and I hate to say this, but think it is to get more views. I have dropped a few channels because of issues I see with their animals---mostly regarding dogs. It is your decision as to what kind and how many animals you want in the future. Just hope your crew can and will accept the newcomers, and vice versa. Whatever you choose, they will be getting a great home and have the best of care. Thanks again for sharing, God bless.

No, your not over thinking it!! I agree with you 100% Grandpa. I am the same way. I want to have my animals kind & friendly to me. When homesteaders grow the stock for whatever reason, that what they want, that's not you or me. We want to be friends with our fur-babies!! Because you have animals for pets, just a few is great. Most homesteads use the animals for food and that's why they have a lot. Also be super careful with getting donkey's. Dogs and donkey's don't always get along. Whatever animals and however many you get will be well loved and cared for. You are amazing with the animals.
