There is a version of this song where One OK Rock (OOR) invited 1,000 kids to sing with them for NHK (Japanese television) during the 18 Year Old children Festival (18Fes). This version does have some subtitles and you can see how the youth felt during that year when Japan lowered the voting age from 20 to 18. The new law thrust these 18 year old kids into adulthood which caused anxiety and OOR wanted to compose a song ( We Are) to address it. It hits the feels so hard, I promise.

I love ypur reaction to OOR. They are a Japanese band formed in 2005. There are 4 members Taka lead singer Toru guitar Ryota bass Tomoya drums They are all in their mid 30s now They sing all types of rock They do not have a particular style that they stick to. One of the reasons i love them. They tour all over the world. They have 10 LP out. And they just release a new single on july 12. They are big on meaningful lyrics and taka sings in both English and Japanese. They are humble and love what they do. They play for 800 to 50,000 with the same love and intensity. Reacting to them is better live. Their mv are master pieces but taka has such an amazing crowd control and stage energy that their luve videos always gives you goosebumps. Songs i recommend Waisted nights Renegades Stand out fir in Fight the night clock strikes 2023 Take what you want Let me let you go When they turn the lights on. ❤❤❤❤

TAKA usually sings in English but when he sings in Japanese I just enjoy it so much. His family has a musical background and he looks like his Pretty mother. She also has an amazing voice. Hi. Huge one ok rock fan. I’m from Houston *waves* you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way he was singing and jumping but taka the lead singer was sick during that concert.
