Your frustration over the headset crash only made this better, in my opinion - the first performance was great, but the second try had an undeniable anger and aggressiveness in it that fit really well with the song itself; if the first try was confident, saying that you knew how good you were, the second one was revenge match telling everyone that the failure was only because of faulty equipment and not because of you personally.
