I feel like this song is the follow up of "when the bomb goes". The first song is about playing with a bomb. Maybe about a recovering drug addict 'playing' with just a little amount but it quickly becomes a lot, aka the bomb 'goes'. This song is reflecting after the overdose and questioning what all the months of abstinence was for if you were going back to step one of healing again and again and..
