this crossing actually used to have a Mck&H teardrop bell. if you go to grange rd carnegie, and go (i think) between 2009 and 2007, you'll see one of the crossings had a teardrop bell!

It's nice that they kept the hybrid bells :)

Yes it is, at least for the remainder of this crossing's life

0.04 - I used to live at 1 Lorne St when it was the single story 1940's house - the owner, Jerry Bonham botched the house in his so-called "Renovations" - He was more of a dreamer than a do'er. Behind the house was a single story (former) Milkbar shop, but Jerry was using it for his state-of-the-art printing company. Good to see both buildings have passed into history, but my haunting memories still remain, unfortunately.

1:05 nice catch of a double pass! 1:59 is that 2-color traffic light for the crossing? It looks similar to german railroad crossing lights! 7:42 that horn sounds moke like a K5LA, but still like a sick bird! I noticed the pedestrian alarms sound similar to the ones at Clarendon! Which also sound like the alarms on level crossings on the Ffestinog railway! The alarms seem to also sound faster when a 2nd train is approaching!

Double passes are quite common in this area, the trains are sooo frequent. It's a bit weird the 2-colour system. They're for the crossing, and they're meant to prevent traffic from blocking the crossing when it activates. There's literally traffic lights just past the crossing, and it regularly has traffic backing up, so it makes sense to have this system installed

Oh, the McK&H Aust one? Sadly they and a side signal are the only original infrastructure left. Both gated signals now have the new style signage and electronic bells (WCH)
