I guess he gives just a good firm handshake how it should be. First it's rude and he has manors, second he knows his strength. The ones really trying to break one's hand during a handshake are often weird characters.

@@onpsxmember There are a few people who might accidentally break your hand too. I have nerve damage (service connected injury) and have at times broken things, and dropped things, I did not mean to. 20+ years later and I still will not hold a child in my right arm because I fear I might hurt them.

The next time you guys do this I'd love to see some target practice where you take turns while alternating between wrist breakers and "nicer" handguns to see how the recoil affects your aim. You're allowed to sight them in before the recording so nobody can blame the sights. GoPro near the target and a monitor if you want to get fancy.

Granger is right! I'm a lefty and I've always shot righthanded bolt guns. It is the way to go if your shooting prone, or with some kind of res, like bipods. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

No kidding, I certainly wouldn't want my arms bent and I'm top heavy built like he is. But, he managed it. Big bore short barrel pistols don't care which hand you squeeze the trigger with, they just want to get up close and personal with your face.

you can still go bigger in the long guns. You can go up to the 900 nitro express, or even a shorter barrel 50 BMG that recently hit the market. It's a semi auto 50 bmgh made like a more common military weapon, I don't recall who makes it. There is also something called a 950 JDJ but I've never seen one of those.

It's a much lower pressure cartridge than the 460 and 500. Recoil impulse won't be as severe. Also, with short barrels the powder burn time is reduced which changes recoil dynamics.

@@peteralexben Physics determines what happens. All cartridges are just little barrels of powder capped with a piece of lead. Powder quantity, burn rate, peak pressures, barrel length all determines what velocity it's going to be going after it leaves the dynamic chamber of the barrel. 500 S&W SAAMI is 60,000 psi. 45-70 SAAMI max is 28,000 psi (obviously stronger guns can take a lot more)

I'm a lefty too and I tried a lefty bolt action after years of right handed rifles, I agree with Granger unless the rifle is crazy heavy. In recent years I've noticed the tend lh charging semi autos, where the new doctrine is to never break the firing grip. Seems to work for me with right handed bolt guns.
