Granite Grip: Overview & Installation

I have three of these on my rifles. I will admit the thing that impressed me the most was the well thought-out packaging. From being able to handle it in the store to see the ingenious way you mounted the screw into the plastic retention tab in the grip. I am impressed not only with the product but the packaging, and that's something special.

This grip is literally perfect! I would really like to try one with the beavertail, it not having one doesn't detract from the grip, the shape of the grip changes the dynamics (I have BT on all my ARs). FWIW, this grip is awesome on a SR25, on those the beavertail can leave a huge gap. I'm buying more. Now you need a thinly padded sling.

Currently we do not offer a Granite Grip with a storage option, but we are working to make that happen! I know I'll be putting some snacks in mine... or maybe batteries. Probably batteries.

Yup! We chose to optimize shooting and ergonimics by tapering the grip and in doing so this limits storage capabilities. We are looking into solutions that give end users both worlds however we chose to prioritize shooting performance and weight savings over storage!

I'm really interested in this grip but I'm a little uncomfortable giving up the storage space. It's the only place i can store a rechargeable 18650 with my weapon itself. I don't mean to put down anyone or their relationship with rifles/shooting, but my life depends on my weapon every single day. Batteries are not plentiful and myself along with my team depend heavily on 18650s. Are y'all planning to release anything with onboard storage or do y'all have a plug that will accommodate an 18650? I'm sorry to harp on this but honestly, the storage is more important to me than a couple more "creature comfort" preference based features, with all due respect and I'm not throwing any shade on y'all and whoever is running your product. I have a few of your slings and they've surpassed my beloved Vickers sling which I ran for years during the GWOT. Looking forward to hearing back from y'all, God bless

We hear you! When designing our line of grips(Granite and Pebble), we wanted to focus on ergonomics and "shootability". In doing so, we ended up with the tapered design that really fits snug in the hand. That tapered design, while comfortable, does limit storage options as the opening is rather small. (About 3/4" by 1 1/2") All that being said, we absolutely understand your personal need and want for storage, and if the Granite Grip isn't for you, no worries! Happy to hear you've had such a great experience with the ESD Sling!
