Hello Becky I want to thank you for this recipe. I’m going to be 60 this year and my grandmother passed away last year and she made this and she would always make two of them because my sister couldn’t not have the nuts so she would put( apple sunflower seeds sometimes, and mix it with the chocolate and it would be absolutely awesome but I didn’t have all the ingredients to the recipe and thank God for you today. You completed it for me and I’m going to call my sister🙏 Thank You again just keep being that God-fearing women that you are because you’re absolutely phenomenal and I thank God for your channel. It's out of the oven and just finished pouring the glaze over this granny cake! My Granma used to make this when I was a little girl. The whole house smells delicious! I just poured the vanilla in the batter and glaze, lol Eyeballed it cause I have been baking so long, I just know by sight how much is enough for this house. I didn't have evaporated milk but I did have a can of organic coconut milk and used a cup of it instead. Put a little bit of extra pecans, too! Thank you Becky! Everything IS in God's hands! What a coincidence! I am making basically the same cake today. A few differences, but very close with the sugar and nuts over the batter and the sauce poured over after it is baked. Love this cake!

oh my gosh, Thank you for posting this video! I was thinking about the cake my mom used to make for us when I was growing up 45 plus years ago. We called that cake Pineapple upside down cake. When I saw this video I thought, this is it! It's the cake my mom made for us. I made your recipe today, and it's the same cake, same smell , same texture, tastes just the same. So good! Thank you.
