Ghoul Grumps wasn't forgotten. Arin ignored it. Dan even mentioned in an episode around that time that they should be doing it and Arin brushed it off. I don't really blame Arin. I understand how stress can get to you, but it was a tradition that just didn't happen, and people were upset. It's a completely understandable complaint. i really love ghoul grumps but the fact that arin felt so bad that he and dan needed to do this makes me feel kinda bad. people have things going on in their lives and they forget things, the backlash from the fans was wildly innapropriate and though i wasnt a part of it personally, i cant help but feel guilty. it feels like we as a fan base, bullied them into doing this for us.

People weren't mad about them "forgetting" about Ghoul Grumps, they were mad because they straight up skipped it and didn't leave a word about it until the last possible day. If Arin had said something earlier, the backlash wouldn't have been nearly as large and people would've understood his situation. They weren't bullied into doing this, they are doing this because they appreciate the fans. They appreciate that people actually tune in each day to watch them play video games and they want to give something back.
