I actually feel really bad for the guy that got scared. I know it might be the instinct of some people to think he's over-reacting and should get over it, but the body doesn't work that way once you hit a full-blown panic attack. There could be a number of reasons why the reaction was so strong, from PTSD to just being really stressed or anxious in that point in life. The chemicals for stress build in the body when you're in that spot, and without help or change it's basically inevitable that something will give, and I've been there and it's unfortunately not something that rational reassurance can easily counter. I love that you guys went in to try and reassure him, and while I know the manager was being really rude, it's best not to do anything to escalate the tension there if possible. It's a credit to how good the makeup and stuff was though. Appreciate you guys. Loved the video.

This is a Publix grocery store, they are known (at least here in South Florida), to hire special needs people as baggers and easier positions.
