One thing I like about this remake is that when you get caught it has consequences granny either puts concrete on the door or puts you in a different part of the house the latter allows a bit of strategy to be there, in the original the closest thing there was is on the 2nd day where the door takes a bit more time to open Although I think this game is trying a little too hard to be scary like the photo with red eyes which looks like a meme and granny's jumpscare which is very over the top (granted the original jumpscare kinda sucks at hindsight) and also in the original the items you drop would sparkle making it a little easier to spot them seeing fusion struggle to find cutting pliers reminded me of that and this could have really used it But overall it's a pretty solid remake I like it

They probably got permission, but the game still has a lot of changes, even at the start. The note wasn't in the game, the 2cd bedroom you go into had normal drawers, not closets, and the walk in closet there didn't have a screw thing in the og game. Even the layout of the house is different, but still similar to the original. Just enough changes to be its own thing.
