@@CelebratingAppalachia , Thank you for listing those organizations, Tipper. Many of us don't have "eyes on the ground" to know which non-profits are working to carry out the much needed help, and which are "all talk and no-show". I've heard good things about Cajun Navy Relief, Mercy Chefs, and Samaritan's Purse - I'm happy to read there are others on the scene. Great opportunity to donate, 💕 especially with Winter coming on.

@@CelebratingAppalachia With cold weather on the doorstep people are going to need warm clothing. Wouldn’t it be nice if churches across the country could “adopt” possibly 2-3 families and provide them clothing and shelter for the next year? Christmas is going to be here soon. Every child should receive an age appropriate toy. We only have one adult grandchild and I would love to be a Santa granny for several more. Is your church doing anything like that Tipper? I’d like to help.
@CelebratingAppalachiaАй бұрын
@@smc130 All great ideas! I've not heard of any churches focusing on Christmas yet but if I do I will share in an update. Our church has donated monetarily as well as many members have volunteered and donated needed items. I'll keep my ears out for details about Christmas. Thank you!

Having this time with your mom, on video, answering so many questions that visibly spark her (elephant type 😂) memory has got to be one of the most beautiful moments of “your” life. My wife and I are watching this with our hearts wide open thinking of both our mothers who have gone in the last few years and WISH we could have done such a thing as this with our mothers. ❤❤❤ my wife’s mom was 101 and mine was 94.
