It's a shame that Blue Note didn't released this album until 1979 in Japan, because this was one of Grant Green's masterpiece alongside Idle Moments & Latin Bit...

Alfred Lion thought Grant Green was a commercial artst, which resulted in albums like this locked in the valuts until after his tragic death in 1979. Big mistake. As this is his best album along with the unissued Born To Be Blue and Idle Moments.

I used to love seeing him perform as a member of 'The Godfathers of Groove' - Bernard Purdie on drums and Reuben Wilson on Hammond Organ. Well worth checking out their albums! Must get this album too...
