I think it's also important to see how she didn't react poorly to the level of negativity she was receiving, obviously the negative speed force has seeped into real life /s, but in all seriousness, she didn't let the negativity have any effect on her performance, and even used that hate in some circumstances. I will never forget the Season 5 Barry and Iris fight over Barry sending Nora back to the future, that is still my favorite from both Grant and Candice, just absolutely astounding.

I agree, what she dealt with from non fans as well as some of her awkward relationships with her co actors made her a strong /survivor, I’m not going to paint her as a picture perfect person, that’s done everything perfectly none of us have but, I do believe she has a story to tell about those 9 years, good and bad truths,maybe one day she will share. I desire the best for them All in the future.🙏🏾😊❤️💛

Yes! As soon as he said "strength", I was sure that's what he meant. She took the hate thrown at her and used that experience to be a mentor and friend to the other Black actors who were later cast in the Arrowverse shows, like helping Javicia Leslie deal with the hate she got taking over as Batwoman. In a lot of ways, Candice is an unsung hero of the Arrowverse.

I'm not as invested in this show as I once was, but it was such a huge part of my life at one point and it coming to an end does make me emotional. It's really sweet listening to Grant talk about his OG castmates, and I especially love what he said about Candice.

I know he was only asked about the original cast that stayed for more than a season, but Rick Cosnett was also an OG cast member. I can’t wait to see him as Eddie Thawne/Cobalt Blue in the final 2 episodes!! I’m going to miss this show so much. Literally took me from middle school all the way to college

I think they created Team Flash like Team Arrow to hire more actors. Network TV is more than just tv, they have to create jobs. They have a certain budget to hire actors, VFX crew, production etc. Notice how they get new team mates every 3 seasons and are obligated to create new characters?

First I’m not surprised about the Danielle thing if it happened, I wouldn’t like someone who was okay using racist fans to try & take my job either. Second they are in no form of any way siblings, not by blood, not by marriage & Joe did not legally adopt Barry or his name would’ve been West, he took him in as a guardian whilst knowing that Barry was in love with Iris, and this is where I ask, did you want Joe to put Barry in the system on the chance that he might marry Iris one day. Third you not liking Iris is quite obvious seeing as you can’t seem to stand the actress Candice getting a positive opinion without having to add negativity, & lastly they have chemistry, you just don’t want them to be together so you repeat a lie you see floating around in hater circles, maybe learn what having chemistry means because it’s not just if you personally ship them.

i think Grant Gustin will return as The Flash in a future DCEU movie or in a sequel of The Flash Movie. Remember how Andrew and Tobey returned for Spiderman? So there's a chance that Grant might return too. We just have to wait till then.
