I stick this on every night I get home drunk. I fucking love it. One of, if not the best performances I've ever heard. Hands down beautiful. I only wish I can be this great until the days of my demise.

The music of Grant Hart has touched my soul since the Huskers time. This naked version of such a great song moves me to tears. Such an underrated artist, but I respect and love him so much.

Grant, you were one of the greatest. I was so glad when your last album was seen for what it is: a masterpiece. Now I'm glad you lived to see the reviews, but it hurts much more that you are gone. Thank you for your songs. Thank you. Rest in peace.

Grants songs were the antithesis of the Bob Mould 'Power Pop' tunes....but at the same time, Hart had a nice ear for melody amongst the roar of the 'Du. And his drumming is well...legendary. Sleep With Angels Grant. Thanks for the memories and kick ass music!! I saw Bob solo at the University Of Texas some time ago, and I drunkenly kept yelling out 'Du songs, which whether they were in his set or not he played! You were there in the room along with Greg. RIP sir.

If you haven't listened to "The Argument" yet, then you're missing out on a brilliant record that stacks up favorably next to anything Bob Mould has done in the past 25 years. Get it on iTunes for $9.99. Best ten bucks you'll ever spend on a double album. And while you're at it, get the remastered version of Nova Mob's "Last Days of Pompeii," also a fantastic and criminally underrated Grant Hart record.

Very true. All of Grant's solo/Nova Mob stuff is excellent. Looking forward to the Unabomber album being released sometime this year.

@@j.frankparnell.radiation You're kidding, right? Bob Mould, Grant's band mate in Husker Du. Both were song writers and both had solo careers after the band broke up so there's inevitably comparison between the two.

Every one of his albums is brilliant. The only problem with the Nova Mob albums is their mixes. "Pompeii" has been remixed -- and it is now clear to anyone who listens what a fine collection of songs it is. Hopefully, the eponymous second NM record will be next, because it's an even better bunch of amazing songs!
