Oregon residents don't realize how good they have it. Being a native Iowan I'm blown away by the beauty that Oregon offers.

Jim Kuhn As a fellow Oregonian, I agree with you Jim. My husband made darn sure that he took me to every Oregon sight there is. I have seen all of these and we would take our old 22' RV out on weekends and find places on no map. I have a wonderful lifetime of memories here in my home. Blessed be. Oregon is beautiful.

My home! I used to be able to see Monkey Face from my living room window. I used to run daily on a 3 mile trail with my wolf hybrid. Where I raised my daughters and all of my family still reside. I love my home.. my heart will always be there. I can’t wait to move back.

Oregon is a beautiful place to explore and hike. Of all the Seven wonders in Oregon its so hard to have a favorite, but I'd say it's a tie between the Columbia River Gorge Area and Smith Rock State Park. Crater Lake and the ocean would be tied for second. I have yet to visit the Painted Hills and Wallowa Mountains.

Grant has been doing weekly clips on the local news for like 30 years now it seems. I live in Oregon. But hate Portland area. But Oregon is pretty outside of portland area. Sisters, and Florance, oregon are my favorite spots in the state. 7-27-15

AmericanPride1234 Absolutely nothing wrong with portland. For a "large city" it still has a huge amount of nature and you can easily drive out of the city to these places.
