Hello Grant, Darren Pierrer of NMO in Melb has just made me a C Brace KAFO for my left leg and showed me your video. Congratulations on your C Braces! Your a real inspiration to me now! That's incredible. I've watched your video about 10 times already. AMAZINH and life changing for you! I also live on a rural property and get around on an ATV on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. I'm only 1 week into my C Brace trial with Making Strides down on the Gold Coast so very early days yet to see whether the C Brace is for me. I have an L5/S1 spinal fusion with pelvic rods resulting in a total paralysed left leg and both feet. My right leg is strong with altered sensation though. I'd love to ask you questions about the C Brace if possible esp around your trial and standing up straight? Most of the videos I've watched are American based. But I completely understand if you don't. Thankyou anyway and I wish you all the success you deserve. Cheers Miranda😉

How are you getting on with your cbrace. I am in Northern Nsw and keen to touch base with Aussie users.

@@geraldinewatts736 it was a failure! I handed it back after 9 weeks of training. It didn't work for me.

@@mirandarosman3721 Hello, I am sorry for you. I am in the final stage of getting it funded now and ready for casting. My trial was completely successful. I am not sure if the one you tried is the same one as mine will be i guess so. I will most likely post back on how I am getting on once It is casted. Again I am really sorry it did not work for you. You must have been No2 in Qld. Although I am in Northern Rivers, my Orthotist is in Southport. I will be No3 and no 21 in Australia.

Hey Grant. Just wondering how things are travelling for you 2 years in now. I'm in Northerm Nsw. I have been successful in my trial with cbrace 2, just waiting on 1st stage funding now with NDIS. I have been told I am no 21 of users and very excited. I have t10 to t12 incomplete paraplegia from conus medullaris/caudal equina and struggle to stay upright long periods, distance walking, terrain and incline issues and knee buckling. I found at the trial it hurt way less to actually'walk' for the first time since rehab in 2016. I nearly cried. Wondering if 2 years on if the cbrace is preventing further pain and wear and tear for you. I am hoping as well as all the obvious benefits it will prevent the right side deteriorating further as it slowly has been trying to support the left side. Hope you are doing well. I love Tassy, I have friends in Sheffield. Been to Tassie a few times.

Hello, thats a question best answered by your orthotist. I have t10-t12 incomplete paraplegia and under grade 3 on left leg, hyperextension and not the best ankle dorsoflexion. It works for me, I am about to get casted soon hopefully!!! Very excited. It's expensive. $80.000. I fit in the correct category as the lower-cost AT are physically dangerous for me.
