Hey Grant, your teaching videos are full of fantastic information. Please mention to your camera operators and editors that here on the teaching channel close ups are less important. We need to see what the club is doing. In this video, and in others you've done in the past, it happens regularly that either yourself or one of your guests holds a club while talking about the club head and the camera view is from knee high up and we can't see what is being explained. The material on your channel is so good, it could be reference material for players looking for tips for years and years to come so please pay attention to this in the future to make your videos even more useable.

I’m with you- why all the hate comments. I’ve taken several lessons from a half a dozen teachers and all were helpful. And I still have lessons to take that are prepaidthat I’ve yet to take. I may not be very good, but I have the lowest score of our weekend foursome more than my fair share of the time and I hold the lowest score so far. The majority of golfers do not take lessons on a consistent basis and wonder why they don’t improve. KZbin lesson maybe helpful but probably not because most are not able to diagnose their own swing. If weekend golfers would take 1 lesson every quarter I believe they would improve. Sean is a great teacher, he knows physics, body mechanics, the golf swing. You will see those teaching aids everytime you see foley or one of his pros on the range. Duh, if you use them they will work. If you don’t want to buy them, make your own and stop whining. This is America-home of capitalism. We should all be grateful to Sean for sharing his time or Grant if he had to pay Sean. Either way I’m grateful.

@SouthernUtahGolfAcademy

Really good lesson with a ton of information. You can make this a bit more simple. Grant, you play golf with really soft wrists. It's what makes your swing look beautiful and effortless. But we don't hit every shot the same way. Especially when you get inside about a hundred yards. You need to control the trajectory and distance much more on those shorter shots. Foley is absolutely right in that we do that by using much less hinge in our wrists. Adjusting how much weight to move to your lead foot before impact will help determine trajectory. You can hit a high or low shot with dead wrists by controlling your low point with your weight distribution at impact. You want to improve... watch Steve Stricker. He's the dead wrist king.

what helped me on my wedges is trying to pitch with my woods , D then 3w . it makes my pitching swing longer and on the path the coach is saying . I remember in highshool when i played and was waiting so we could tee off,. i just chip the ball with the driver from the blue tees to the white tees . It also helped me stand taller during pitch shots.

A little perspective from a 24 hcp golfer. I got the ProSendr and the squishy ball. Paid the $170. My irons were steep. I dug major irrigation trenches with my wedges. I just practiced at the range with the wrist cuff, and I changed my pre-shot routine to include a little practice takeaway with the wrist set at that angle. So far, in 6 months I have dropped about 5 strokes in my hcp index. I think there is improvement remaining. We shall see. The $170 was equivalent to 3 lessons. I still have the device, and I can always pass it on to a friend when I'm done with it. But you don't need the device. You can always just work on maintaining your wrist set without a device, and you can buy a cheap nerf ball to help you keep your arms connected. Hope these comments help.

Fully agree with what Sean Foley said - if you look at Scottie, Bryson and Xander, they have the least amount of wrist set but everyone is paying attention to their feet. I bought the Prosendr and it is a miracle - as Sean mentioned, I came from a time where more wrist hinge / set was encouraged. Now the Prosendr is limiting my wrist hinge and forcing me to use my big muscles - a lot more consistent and I'm hitting it further. FYI Ludvig is another limited wrist hinge guy.
