Thanks for sharing that, everyone else does mechanics or just replaces panels. Really great watching bodywork restoration...it's a real skill. You might learn theory at College but it's only when you're actually doing the job you learn. Did you do an apprenticeship or are you self taught? Either way great respect for the work you turn out.

interesting tools and techniques .... no wonder cars are wrote off time to put stuff back right even second hand OEM parts still need time to make right and the tooling and consumables Shrinking tool ? is that a modern way ? how did they shrink and strengthen panels old times ... or was it just new panels cut in Would you have save time and money fitting insurance approved new wings or does it boil down to cost second hand oem parts are better fit I assume ? Nice work cant wait to see it finished .... gleaming Any thoughts on keeping the wrap ?

You can use a shrinking hammer which has loads of crosses on the face and a blow torch, and yes new wings would have been easier but tbh I don’t mind doing the repairs as for the wrap I think I’ll remove it 👍👍👍👍👍

Good viewing grant.always worrying when somebody's been there before...years ago I did a driveshaft on a van,come to take the castle nut off and someone had hammered a nail through and bent it round instead of a split pin,and it got worse from there 🤬

Grant if you think that front bumper had it ,there are a few on eBay from £250 to about £350 but that would probably be too much messing about, I'm sure you'll get that one sorted 👍I just thought I'd let you know 😊
