Yeah Miyazono made it work by undercutting everyone twice and staying out of the battles where the Subaru would suffer, high IQ strategy.

As for Lexus, Igor Fraga will miss the World Finals due to participating in a replacement race for Round 5 of the SUPER GT series, which was scheduled for August but was cancelled due to a typhoon. Harald Walsen will be brought in from Chile as a substitute.

They’re the remaining drivers for the teams. The others already drove at previous events. Besides, it’s more convenient for the Japanese competitors to contest the event held in Japan. (Likely their choice, though.)
