Sistar is either dropping summer song or mature sexy vibe song, they got the summer queen title since they released a song called Loving U, and their another summer song is shake it, i swear, and last year hyolyn and dasom (2 ex member from sistar) releasing a project song called summer or summer ☀️ alone was their iconic song with the leg choreo, mv etc 😍 for mature sexy vibe song from them i recommend Give it to me, I like that i love both vibe summer or mature vibe songs from them, but their summer songs is more like happy party vibe lol ANW i also recommend Hush from Miss A the choreo the song was so good

Girl's Generation (snsd), 2NE1, Wondergirls, Kara, T-ara, Sistar, 4minute, F(x), Miss A, After School, Brown eyed Girls, Secret, Davichi, A-pink, Girlsday, Orange Caramel, 9muses, Rainbow These are the most prominent 2nd gen Girl groups that brought K-pop to international stardom and help shaped K-pop to what it is...Many groups u see today probably look up to them...and most likely have covered their songs... And most definetly many songs from them are just compulsary lists of songs that every entertainment agency will require their trainees to know and learn about... yes some of their songs sound outdated, yes many videos are of poor quality, yes their fashion can be lame, yes their viewership in youtube doesnt come close to the newer groups u see today...But they had to survive during a time when youtube or social media platform werent as prominent as it is now...mind u many of these girls blew up even before gangnam style...Although mostly in Asia...but surprisingly there was a growing following from europe, s.america, middle east, australia etc....we had to wait for weeks/months just to get english subtitles for k-pop content... u dont have to worship the old generation groups for all i care....But all I can say, it was a glorious time to discover K-pop in the midst of a historically very westernized based music scene...it felt like a cultural discovery..U would've loved it..Glad you enjoyed some of these.. New subsriber here :D

I miss SNSD so much. The funniest part about Mr. Mr. is that SM actually lost the file of the oficial MV, so at the last minutes they had to work with some album BTS photoshoot and some oficial scenes they saved from the true MV. So we never actually watched the whole thing. Love your reactions!!!! Hope you can react to their other concepts in the future like The Boys, You Think, CMIYC, Party and LionHeart!

Miss A are actually amazing and they had amazing songs (I don't need a man is iconic !). They were super popular in Korea but I think people don't really recommend them nowadays and it's a shame because a lot of their songs are top tiers kpop songs ! Also there is a reason why JYP is called the heaven company for GG because all of their girlgroup are incredible and all of them are different which is super impressive. I would recommend reacting to 2ne1 ballads if you want to see their amazing versatility !

Glad you loved Alone. Sistar has one of the best discographies of 2nd gen imo. They were regarded as Summer Queens cos of the consistent summer bops they've released. Knetz said there are four seasons in Korea = Spring, SISTAR, Autumn, and Winter. That's how recognized their songs are. I guess they just mastered that signature summer sound. When I listen to their songs, I think of the beach! 😅 Regarding the Summer songs they released, the best were Touch My Body, Loving U, Shake It, Push Push, I swear and Shady Girl! I’d argue Alone is their most iconic song alongside Touch My Body. Alone was everywhere in 2012 and were in top 5 of year end charts. And this is my theory but i think SISTAR started the sexy revolution during that time when even cute concept groups turned to sexy mature concepts like SISTAR’s. The styling for 2NE1's I LOVE YOU is vintage high fashion from Versace, Roberto Cavalli, etc. You may like the acoustic version of I Love You. Many of their songs have different versions esp for their live performances to keep it fresh. I suggest you watch Lonely next. It's a ballad, first PAK by a kpop group (boy/girl)

As a Say A (Miss A fandom), I’d recommend “I don’t need a man” “Hush” or “Goodbye Baby” for your next reaction videos with Miss A. Their discography is full of women empowerment anthems. They were really popular before but it’s just sad that they were mismanaged from the time Suzy blew up and a rift between the girls started showing. Fei and Jia, their Chinese members, are now very active in China. Min just released a song “Hit Me Up” and Suzy is still making headlines in her acting career (but she did release a song a while back called “Satellite”). I hope this helps! 😊

Bad Girl Good Girl by miss A is one of the most iconic songs in all of Kpop. The fact that they won "Song of the year" at the MAMA's with their debut song is unbeatable. One of greatest mysteries in kpop is how Starship could have possibly let Sistar disband... granted, I wonder if it was always Hyolyn's plan to start her own agency. Maybe she's already addressed it in interviews, but my hubby and I weren't ready when Sistar separated.

SISTAR started being called Summer Queens after they released Touch My Body (2014), because they only released music during the Summer from that point until they disbanded. Before that, they debuted in Summer 2010 and released 2 bops during that season, they also released their first #1 hit SO COOL in August 2011 (which is a straight up Dance banger, but it was released during Summer so it can be considered a Summer song lol), and in 2012 they released Alone (in Spring) and Loving U (during Summer). They were just having back to back #1 hits back then, but the Summer Queens title was given to them during 2014 if I recall correctly.

Alone is an amazing track and yes, it's a masterpiece. The choreo is amazing. It put them on the map before they became the summer bop queens. The bass is awesome and the drum break down on the rap kills. It's one of my all time favorite snares as well. Bad Girl, Good Girl was Miss A's killer debut in 2010 and it went on to become Song of the Year. JYP doesn't mess around.

If you want to get into 2nd gen girl groups, there are three who should be on your list that you have yet to react to: Wonder Girls - Before SNSD became the "Nation's Girl Group," the Wonder Girls were the most popular. However, after the hit that was "Nobody," JYP sent them to the US to try to break into the American market (it didn't work). While they were gone, SNSD released "Gee," and the rest is history. In addition to "Nobody," you should also check out the frequently-covered "I'm So Hot." The first K-pop girl group to make it big in Japan was Kara. Their songs "Step" and "Mister" are considered classics, but my favorite is "Mamma Mia." The late Goo Hara, whose suicide in 2019 brought a lot of attention to revenge porn in Korea, was a member of this group. My favorite 2nd gen girl group was T-ara. They were on the way to becoming SNSD-popular, but then a BS bullying scandal derailed their Korean career. They did, however, become the most popular K-pop girl group in China. Everything they did was good, but as far as music videos go, you need to check out their long drama MVs. "Cry Cry" and "Lovey-dovey" (in that order) together are a sort of Hong Kong cop drama, while "Day by Day" and "Sexy Love" (in that order) together are a post-apocalyptic sci-fi action film. They also did shorter dance versions of these songs, so you will know you found that drama versions if each video is between 15 and 20 minutes long.

Alone! So iconic. Aside from being Summer Queens, Sistar is well known for being a sexy and healthy and athletic group. That's why most of their endorsement are on sportswear. They SLAY SEXY CONCEPT. Do Give it to Me, I like that and also check out Sistar19. Alone may not be the usual summer bop you'd expect but it's a type of song that when Sistar does it, it makes Summer feel hotter. That is really really iconic. A lot of 2nd gen boygroups dance to Alone.

missA were called Miss Asia and they were mostly famous in Asian countries esp China Thaïlande Philippin...etc. They were known for their concept of GIRLS POWER (accept for their song "only you" it was their worst comeback) not to mention the fact that missA Suzy is Nation's 1st love, MissA jia was the 1st kpop idol who dyed her hair with an unatural colors, which was pink in 2010, then other idols stated dying their hair with different colors after her. Also, Jia taught CL from 2ne1 Chinese rap as they were close friends. Miss A Min was called Kkap dancer she was one of the best kpop dancers. Miss A fei also was known of her Flaminco dancing in which she could win in many dancing shows in korea.
